Eric is currently a Sociology and Religious Studies student at Binghamton University. He’s looking to become a Rabbi and do Judaism professionally. His skills involve being able to communicate well both verbally and in writing, managing several projects simultaneously, and working well as part of a team. His creativity muscles have been well toned by working in both the summer camping industry and in campus Jewish life.
Eric is one of the co-founders and the driving force behind Masorti on Campus: an organization supporting traditional-egalitarian Jewish campus communities. There he is constantly pushing the team to innovate and create exciting new initiatives. Under his leadership Masorti on Campus has created a successful Shabbaton project which has brought together Jewish students and professionals from around the world.
Before attending Binghamton, Eric majored in Judaic Studies at the University of Hartford, where he served as President & CEO of UHart’s Chabad Chevra; before serving as President, Eric was Communications Director where he oversaw a complete overhaul of that organization’s marketing and fundraising structures.
Eric also worked for Camp Ramah in the Berkshires over a seven year period, with the last two being part of their year-round team. Additionally, Eric is an alumnus of Nativ: The College Leadership Program in Israel.
