Eric is an award winning Jewish nonprofit professional with a decade of global experience. He currently serves as Jewish Educator & Springboard Ezra Fellow at Hillel Milwaukee. Eric is a co-founder of MASORTI on Campus, the organization for traditional-egalitarian Jewish college communities in North America, and is a national board member of MERCAZ USA.
Other lay leadership experience include a seat on the Young Leadership Division Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, and a committee appointment on the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey.
Eric studied sociology and religious studies at Binghamton University with additional graduate level study of Talmud, rabbinic literature, and Jewish philosophy at both the Jewish Theological Seminary and Conservative Yeshiva.
During time spent living in Israel, Eric worked as the Strategic Communications & Engagement Specialist at the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center and participated in a fellowship program at the Lookstein Center for Jewish Education of Bar Ilan University.
Eric is a lifelong Ramahnik, having spent 19 consecutive summers as either a camper or staff member across the Ramah Camping Movement. In 2015, he completed his tour as a year-round team member at Camp Ramah in the Berkshires.
